1.
Your online application must be replaced by a signed
postal application as soon as possible,
which will be emailed to you, and
must be
posted to the address below to be received no later
than April 30th 2012 unless an R+R Live©
Representative collects it from you.
2.
Your donation of £100 must be paid by cheque made
out to the nominated charity, and posted to the address
below to be received no later than April 30th 2012.
3. A
£100 donation, shall be paid to R+R Live©
for the nominated charity, and the band shall be
allowed to collect 'in the jug' on the evening of
the event, in order to attempt to earn a partial fee.
We recommend that the Landlord at least ensure that
an amount equivalent to a minimum £15 per band
member to cover expenses is received by the band, by
topping up the collection if necessary, or where the
Landlord does not wish a collection to be made,
funding this amount.
4.
The band may also request additional monies directly
from the landlord if they so choose. Whatever
payment is made to the band is a matter
of negotiation between the venue and the band, and
care should be taken that both parties are in
agreement well in advance of the evening. Neither 'The R+R Guide', nor R+R Live©,
nor SBS (UK) Ltd, nor the nominated charity, nor any of their Directors nor
Representatives shall bear any
responsibility, should any dispute arise between the
Landlord and the band in this regard. We would
however hope that the venue would consider the
promotional benefit to being part of R+R Live©, and
would reflect this in any agreement reached.
5. An
application may be refused or cancelled at any time
by the Organisers and Sponsors, should they feel such
action to be necessary, and such a decision will be
final. In this case any donation made would be
refunded, UNLESS the cancellation were the result of
any impropriety or alleged impropriety on the part
of the venue or band concerned, requiring such
action, in the interests of the Organisers and
Sponsors, R+R Live©, or the
charities it represents.
6. All
parties concerned participate in / attend the R+R Live©
evening at their own risk. Neither 'The R+R Guide',
nor R+R Live©,
nor SBS (UK) Ltd, nor the nominated charity, nor any of their Directors nor
Representatives
shall bear any responsibility for any incidents
arising on the evening of this event, nor for any
damages incurred to property or persons associated
with it, or in attendance thereof.
7.
Where a venue has no preference of band, R+R Live© will be happy to make
appropriate introductions, or offer advice, however,
we cannot
bear any responsibility for the qualilty of the
performance on the night, nor can we offer any
reassurances in this regard. The final decision will
ultimately be that of the Landlord. Should you
register your interest with us, and express a desire
for us to help match you with a band, please do not
make any alternative arrangements without letting us
know first, since we may be mid-negotiation on your
behalf. Once a band is agreed you may not change
them without prior consultation to R+R Live©,
and not at all within 4 weeks of the event date.
Neither may a venue add an additional entertainment
without the agreement of the artists or band
concerned. If a venue wishes to arrange their own
band, they must notify us of the bands name, and
have the band register with R+R Live©
no
later than 4 weeks before the event. In these
circumstances, should the band cancel, R+R Live©
can then bear no responsibility for replacing them,
and no monies shall be refunded, although in the
interests of the event as a whole R+R Live©
will do their best to assist with finding a
replacement.
8. R+R
Live© represents a series of individual events,
connected by a common theme, sharing a generic
branding for purposes of promotion, and raising
money for a common cause. No party who has not
registered on this website, accepted these terms, or
made the required £100 donation to R+R
Live©, may use this name, or benefit by
association at any time without the express written
permission of the Organisers and Sponsors.

4. An

or the
charities it represents.

without prior consultation to R+R Live©,
and not at all within 4 weeks of the event date.

in this regard. Where more than one band is
playing, all parties must reach an appropriate agreement for
sharing as necessary.
